Liberal: Albuquerque, New Mexico

The economy of Albuquerque rests largely on industries like science, medicine, technology, and education. This picturesque city is nestled against the backdrop of the southern Rocky Mountains, and it has some of the most breathtaking views imaginable from office windows and residential homes alike. This city is home to the International Balloon Festival, a gathering of hot air balloon enthusiasts which takes place annually and draws huge crowds to partake in community building events. With a vibrant culture and plenty of economic opportunity for its residents, it’s easy to see how the city has grown consistently over the last several years.

The area around Albuquerque has a large liberal following, and they voted true blue for this last election season. It was enough to bring in the vote for Joe Biden this time, although the rivalry remains a close competition between the two major political parties in our country.
