Liberal: Riverside, California

Riverside is aptly named for its location by the Santa Ana river. Part of the Los Angeles conglomerate, it houses 300,000 residents who have a progressively liberal view on politics and life in general.

Riverside residents represented strongly at the polls in November, bringing in almost 65 percent of the vote for the Democratic party. It seems that Southern California is leaning left after the 2020 results, with more support for progressive policy to follow in the months to come.
