Liberal: Chicago, Illinois

Chicago Illinois, or the Windy City, as some refer to it, is home to nearly 3 million residents, according to recent census reports. Situated along the banks of Lake Michigan, it’s the largest city in the Midwest and a major economic and industrial hub for the entire area. Loyal residents attest to plenty of career opportunity, sizzling nightlife, and an abundance of art, music and culture to keep the most discriminating individual satisfied.

With so much of Illinois claiming Chicago’s greater metropolitan area as their home, it’s easy to see how this state was swung in our recent election. Conservative may have been more prevalent in outlying areas of the state, but thanks to the densely populated areas of Illinois including Chicago, the Democrats took the state with little effort.
