Liberal: Seattle, Washington

A major port city and hub of activity in the Pacific Northwest, Seattle Washington is home to everything from Starbucks to the open-air market. Tepid climate, beautiful scenery, and quaint mountain towns mere minutes away from the downtown district make this a beautiful location to live and work.

Seattle came in a little on the blue side this past election, with almost 60 percent of the popular vote going to Biden. Whether they stay in this camp or move toward a more conservative choice remains to be seen, but regardless of political leanings, Seattle remains a very attractive place for young and old.
