Conservative: Anaheim, California

Anaheim was founded in 1857 by fifty German families who fell in love with the terrain and the climate of southern California. This fringe city has a claim on several Disney resorts and hotels; a number of industry and business opportunities, as well as some beautiful scenery make Anaheim a very attractive place for up and coming families.

Anaheim turned tables this past November and came in with 53 percent of their votes for the Democrats, which is a surprising statistic when given their conservative makeup and past voting history. It’ll be interesting to see where this population goes with their political loyalties in the years to come.
