#50 – Red Hot Chili Peppers

The Red Hot Chili Peppers consists of vocalist Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chat Smith, and guitarist John Frusciante. This LA-based band is known for having elements of alternative rock, funk-punk rock, and psychedelic rock, which gives them a unique and beloved sound. 

It was songs like “Under the Bridge,” “Californication,” “Otherside,” and “Scar Tissue’” that placed the band in a category all its own, sounding different than other bands on the radio. It comes as no surprise that the band holds the record for the most number-one singles on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart.
