Cream was a British rock band formed in London in 1966. The group consisted of singer, songwriter, and bassist Jack Bruce, guitarist and vocalist Eric Clapton, and drummer Ginger Baker.

While the band members’ differences ended up in the band breaking up, only a few years in, they achieved great success during that time. They were ranked as number 16 on VH1’s “100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock” and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.
