Paint Protector

When you are painting a room, you always need to protect some areas of the room from being painted, such as the metal accessories on the door frames, and light switches. Tape is generally the go-to option for protecting these areas. However, in the more curvy parts of the room, tape can get a little tricky to work with. For instance, trying to cover a door knob with tape might prove difficult, requiring several pieces to make a rounded shape.

Instead, you could simply make your own shape around the doorknob using aluminum foil. Because the foil is so thin and flexible, and can be formed into pretty much any shape you want, it’ll make protecting your door knobs or locks much easier. Once the paint has dried, simply remove the foil and no residue will be left.
