Margot Kidder, who passed away in 2018, played Christopher Reeve’s love interest, Lois Lane, in the 1978 movie Superman. She reprised her role in 1980’s Superman II and again in 1983’s Superman III.

Lois Lane might be the original, most iconic female lead role in the history of super hero movies, and Kidder more than did the role justice, as her presence and poise alongside Reeve was far more than that of a supporting actor.
