Before becoming superstars, Diamond and Streisand attended Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, New York. “We were two poor kids in Brooklyn,” Diamond recalled. “We hung out in the front [of the school] and smoked cigarettes.”

In 1978, the classmates joined together to create a classic breakup song, You Don’t Bring Me Flowers. They both became Golden Globe winners, in addition to receiving plenty of other awards over the decades.
