David Caruso

David Caruso became a star on the hit police show NYPD Blue in 1993, but would leave the show shortly into the second season over a salary dispute. After years of struggling to reclaim that stardom after his departure, he found success in 2002 on the show CSI: Miami. His pithy one-liners and donning of sunglasses became his trademark.

CSI: Miami would air for ten seasons before being canceled in 2012 due to a ratings decline. Since that time, Caruso hasn’t taken on any new acting roles, with it looking like he’s finished with Hollywood. He previously co-owned a clothing store in Miami called “Steam on Sunset” and more recently opened an art gallery.
