Susan Boyle arose from obscurity on Britain’s Got Talent with her rendition of “I Dreamed A Dream”. What started out as a joke of an audition caused many to sit up and take notice of her extraordinary talent.

Her exposure with that single audition was enough to land her opportunities and an eventual net worth of $22 million dollars, which is more than enough to enjoy a comfortable retirement.
