Emmylou Harris – Born 1947

Emmylou Harris is a world-renowned singer, songwriter, and musician that has had a longstanding career in the country music genre. She has worked with such greats as Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, and even Bob Dylan. Her talents and unique vocals have gained her not only critical acclaim, but an impressive 14 Grammys and induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Equally as impressive is the way that she has managed to turn back time. Her most significant work was done in the years between 1987 and 2014, and while most people think of retiring at her age, Emmylou laughs at the very thought.  She will no doubt be making music for years to come.
