Rob Lowe: March 17, 1964

Known as the greatest teen idol—or at least the most attractive one—-of the 80s, Rob Lowe had fame written in his stars from a very young age.  Appearances in movies such as The Outsiders, Square Dance, and Oxford Blues earned him a prominent place in the entertainment industry, but controversial rumors forced him to go underground for a bit until his re-emergence in the late 90s.

He took a spot on The West Wing and has been an institution on that show for years. He and wife Sheryl Lowe have three children, and despite the occasional legal hiccup or dispute with employees, they find themselves carving out a perfectly respectable life in southern California.
