Lynn Hamilton – Born 1930

This multifaceted African American actress began her acting journey with Shadows, a John Cassavetes film. She went on to new levels of fame and fortune with the role of Donna Harris in Sanford and Son, a popular eighties sitcom. This Mississippi vixen is still as feisty as she ever was, regardless of the fact that she is nearing ninety.

A number of other television shows grace her resume, such as Port Charles, The Golden Girls, Dangerous Women, and The Next Generations. She lost longtime husband and partner, Frank Jenkins, back in 2014, and we sincerely hope she is doing well and caring for herself so we can share in her life for many more years to come.
