Connie Stevens comes from a long line of musicians; her mother and father were both well-known and well respected in the jazz community. Despite the genealogical link to music, she had limited contact with her biological parents, as she was raised primarily from her grandparents.

Stevens rose to prominence with her passion for music and desire to perform. She formed a group called The Foremost with three other singers, and she springboarded from there to a group called The Three Debs. She remained active in the musical community but expanded her repertoire to include film and television. She may be aging, but she is doing so impressively well; she looks as radiant as ever.
