Whistling Straits is made up of two different courses called the Straits and the Irish. Each one was designed by Pete Dye and they’re known to be two of the best courses in the country. Whistling Straits has hosted several golf events such as the 2010 PGA Championships and the Palmer Cup.

The courses run along two miles of the Lake Michigan coastline. They were created with Irish style dunes and grass to make them all the more challenging. A single round of golf there costs each person $300, plus a fee of $65 for a mandatory caddie.
