The Links At St Andrews – Scotland, United Kingdom

Considered by many as the “home” of golf, St Andrews is quite the spectacle. Golf has been played there dating back to the 15th century. The exclusivity and waiting list illustrate just how difficult it is to play 18 holes on the Links at St Andrews.

Membership is by invitation only and there are only around 2,400 members worldwide. There are currently seven courses there. If you manage to snag a tee time, be prepared to drop around $275 to play the Old course between April and October. The other courses are cheaper, but not as coveted.
