Fancourt Country Club – George, South Africa

Located almost directly east of Cape Town, The Fancourt Country Club has the slogan, “Living the Dream.” It’s rather fitting, if you get to experience it. There are three courses that are consistently named among Golf Digest’s top 20 rankings. The Links, a privately-owned club, is South Africa’s premier golf course.

That particular course could cost up to an absurd $2,000 for 18 holes depending on the season. Other courses there demand up to nearly $1,000. The public courses are called Montagu and Outeniqua. They both still are ranked within the top 15 golf courses in the country.
