The Old White Course at Greenbrier is located near the border with Virginia. It has been around since 1914 and is one of the best golf courses in the United States. The course was designed by Charles Blair, who was influenced by other golf courses in Ireland and Scotland, as he named some of the holes after those across the globe.

Part of the TPC network, The Old White Course has hosted professional tournaments like the FedEx Cup. The course is surrounded by beautiful and densely forested mountains. Compared to a lot of other courses on this list, it’s a steal to play there at only $150, plus an additional $75 caddie fee.
