This course is located near several other iconic courses like Pebble Beach and Spanish Hill along the coast. Spyglass Hill Golf Course got its name from the book Treasure Island. Author Robert Louis Stevenson spent time in the area in the later part of the 1800s.

Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the course and was inspired by this. The holes are even named after the pirates in the book, such as “Billy Bones” and “Black Dog.” The course is known for having some of the best views in the whole world. It’s also extremely challenging, even for the best of the best. Green fees are around $370.
