Clearwater Bay Golf Club – Hong Kong, China

The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club is a privately-owned course southeast of downtown Hong Kong. Every year, it hosts the PGA Tour China. It was supposed to host the World Amateur Team Championships in 2020, but it was moved to Singapore before ultimately being cancelled altogether due to the pandemic.

The golf course sits up against the South China Sea. The original course design was supposedly not that great. However, the Thompson-Perrett team remodeled it to high standards. Now, there are beautiful views of the clubhouses, hotel and ocean. Membership dues can reach up to nearly $500,000.
