Indianapolis is the state capital and the largest city in Indiana. In 1821, it was founded as a planned city for the purpose of seating a new state government. Deliberate thought and careful architectural planning make this easily one of the most beautiful cities in the country, and those who visit are reluctant to leave.

Despite its conservative surroundings, Indianapolis residents ran true blue this past November, coming in with a major portion of the Democratic vote. It was not enough to swing the state for Biden, however, and Indiana went to the red party.
