Liberal: Tampa, Florida

The west coast of Florida boasts the great city of Tampa, near the Gulf of Mexico. The greater Tampa Bay area is home to nearly 4 million residents, making it one of the largest ports on the Gulf and a major hub of activity in and out of the country. Beautiful surroundings, a booming economy, and rich culture make this a very attractive place to live.

Although the state went to the conservatives, Tampa made a good showing for the Democrats in outlying areas. Tampa will be an urban area to watch in future elections.
