Liberal: Kansas City, Missouri

Kansas City is the largest city in MIssouri by both population and by area. It was founded in the 1830s as a Missouri river port and trade hub for those coming in from the West. Residents of Kansas City’s greater metropolitan area make up a large portion of Missouri’s population, with nearly 2 million people living and working in this riverside city.

Although the city itself voted Democratic in 2020, it seems that they are surrounded by conservative supporters, as the state went to Trump in the November election. Better luck next time, KC.
