The city of Fort Worth was originally established as an army base overlooking the Trinity river. With a population that has nearly doubled since 2000, it remains one of the fastest growing cities in the South.

Everything tends to be bigger in Texas, and the fight for the presidency is no exception. The battle was dramatic, but conservative won out; 52 percent of the vote went to the Republican party in the 2020 elections. Not surprising, as a number of Fort Worth’s neighbors leaned red during this time.
