The Washington D.C. area is rich with history and culture; this city has been at the helm of our political system for ages and is likely a major player in any movement or election that is shaping our country at the time.

The Democrats took the landslide victory in this area of the country in the 2020 presidential elections; Democratic Joe Biden took home 93 percent of the vote, making the title of contender for anyone else a laughable affair. Will this political stronghold be persuaded to change their leanings anytime soon? Perhaps gaining equal representation across the House and Senate will help facilitate a more balanced vote.
