The seat of Douglas County, Omaha is the largest city in Nebraska, with almost one million residents living in the metropolitan area. A wonderful place to work and live, it’s home to four Fortune 500 companies, including Berkshire Hathaway and Mutual of Omaha.

This city brought in 58 percent of the vote for the Republican party, and this no doubt had an influence on the statewide lean toward the conservative side. Political analysts cite faith-based values and small town living for the return to the red.
