Kristin Fisher was born and raised in Texas, but graduated with her BA in journalism from Boston University’s College of Communication. She worked for a local Colorado ABD affiliate, KJCT-LP. She then went on to work for another ABC affiliate, KATV, in Arkansas.

She moved to Washington, D.C. to work for ABC NewsOne in 2009. She joined Fox six years later as a general assignment reporter in the station’s D.C. bureau, where she replaced Molly Henneberg. She is an Emmy award winner for her bi-weekly shows that were dedicated to local heroes in Washington, D.C.
