Christina Coleman was born in San Antonio, Texas. Christina started work for as an anchor and night reporter for an NBC affiliate, KSDK-TV, in St. Louis, Missouri in 2014, where she covered community issues, including the Ferguson riots. She is an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists, in which she is the vice president of the organization’s San Antonio chapter.

She has been praised for her coverage of the mass shooting at Fort Hood. She was hired by Fox in 2019, when they announced her addition to the team as a news correspondent for their local LA branch.
