Jane Skinner is a Chicago native who holds a BA and master’s degree from Northwestern University. She began her career as a general reporter for Fox based in NYC as a local affiliate, WNBC-TV. She has also worked in Portland, Maine, and St. Louis, Missouri.

Jane worked hosting for Fox News’ daytime program, Happening Now, alongside Jon Scott. The program aired from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on weekdays. She announced in 2010 that she would be retiring from television to spend more time with her two children and her husband, Roger Goodell, the commissioner of the NFL.
