Melissa Francis began her television career as an infant, by first appearing in a Johnson & Johnson commercial for baby shampoo. She then went on to have roles as a child actress on Little House on the Prairie and St. Elsewhere before breaking away from acting to obtain her BA from Harvard.

Melissa got her first job with CNBC hosting After the Bell, a weekday program. She then went on to join Fox Business Network and Fox News, where she is a regular panelist and contributor on the weekday afternoon show Outnumbered.
