Mariana Atencio’s bilingual abilities have earned her the respect of both the American and Latin American media communities. Much of her prior journalism experience includes positions with Fusion TV and Univision.

Making the crossover to American journalism endeavors in 2016, Atencio was given the opportunity to serve as anchor and correspondent for the MSNBC network. At the time, she was the only Latina correspondent working for the network.
