Bobby Sherman

Sherman was a teen pop star back in the 1960’s. In 1973, he decided to buy a Boeing 720B and named it The Starship. Thereafter, the private plane transported some of the biggest names in the industry. Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and The Bee Gees are only some of the celebrities who flew on Bobby’s plane.

It was customized with an electric organ, king-size waterbed, fireplace and 30-foot bar. It was the ultimate party in the sky. Unfortunately, the party didn’t last very long. In 1982, the plane was scrapped for parts, but is fondly remembered in the memoirs of several famous figures.
