Fleetwood Mac

The band has had a recent revival in popularity thanks to a viral video of a man riding a skateboard while drinking fruit juice with Fleetwood Mac playing in the background. Fleetwood Mac also owned a plane in the 1970’s. Even though accidents piled up on chartered private plans during this era, many musicians and other celebrities continued to utilize them regularly.

In 1977, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s plane crashed and killed three of the band members. Aerosmith bandmate Joe Perry recalled that his band was going to charter that same plane, but ultimately changed their plans. He said they were incredibly lucky and it was quite common to fly on a plane that a band like Fleetwood Mac had been on the week prior.
