James Gandolfini’s face appeared on TV screens around the world as mob boss Tony Soprano. He was even still working on projects at the time of his shocking passing. While in Italy, vacationing with his family, he was found unconscious on his bathroom floor. He was taken to the hospital but it was already too late.

The autopsy confirmed that it was because of a heart attack. Numerous organizations, actors, directors, and even politicians including Broadway and John McCain honored the actor after his passing.
