Too Hot In The Kitchen

A fire extinguisher. I have always had them around and never gave them much thought until the moment I needed one. A lithium polymer battery (from a drone) burst into flames and then exploded, starting fires in four different locations. I was still holding the flaming battery charger as it slowly dawned on me that I was NOT going to put this fire out by hand before it spread to the rest of the house.

My wife saved the day by throwing me a fire extinguisher, with which I put the fire out in just a few seconds. Reddit User: IronFires
