The first of three Ohio towns to make this list, New Albany is located northeast of Columbus. It has a large, vibrant Jewish population and has also been very supportive of the arts over the years.

Abercrombie & Fitch, part of the retail clothing conglomerate built by entrepreneur Les Wexner, is headquartered in New Albany. There are also large distribution centers for the retailer next to the corporate office.
