Lawrence, New York (Honorable Mention)

Lawrence is a wealthy village located just south of downtown New York City. It almost touches the Atlantic Ocean, with just Atlantic Beach and the Reynolds Channel separating citizens from the sea.

Old Lawrence, or Back Lawrence, is comprised primarily of large homes, mansions, beachside villas, and even a few former plantations. Some of these properties date all the way back to the American Revolution.
