Winnetka is the slightly-less-rich neighbor of Glencoe, Illinois, which we’ll get into on the next entry on the list. The two towns share a border, with Winnetka located to the south of Glencoe.

Many fans of the movie Home Alone make an effort to go to the home of the McCallister family that is featured in the film. While the neighborhood likely seems huge to a little kid on his own, Winnetka is actually less than four square miles.
