One of Darien’s most popular activities is yachting. While Darien is in another state, it’s still relatively close to downtown Manhattan and has become a preferred neighborhood for wealthy New York City workers.

Darien is the smallest town on Connecticut’s Gold Coast, but still has two public beaches, multiple country clubs, a hunting club, and a boat club. It’s only fitting that there’s also a yacht club.
