Inverness, Illinois (Honorable Mention)

Located northwest of Downtown Chicago, it’s still possible to commute to or from Inverness in less than an hour. The town is also closely situated to Harper College and Arlington International Racecourse.

Inverness is especially well known for its large and beautiful residential lots. As a matter of fact, Williamsburg Village is the only business development in town – but with Chicago nearby, there’s still plenty to do nearby.
