When CDs or DVDs get scratched, they’ll keep skipping over and over. No matter how many times you try to clean them, you may never get them to work. Surprisingly enough, you could just use some toothpaste. Most people don’t use CDs anymore, but if you find an old one and want to reminisce, you can just clean it with toothpaste.

Procter & Gamble formed a joint research team in 1950. It was held by Dr. Joseph Muhler at Indiana University, and the purpose was to create and develop a toothpaste that contains fluoride. After testing the product, they found that children 6-16 showed a 49% reduction in cavities and tooth decay.
