#53 – Uriah Heep

Formed in London in 1969, Uriah Heep comprises rhythm guitarist Mick Box, keyboardist Phil Lanzon, lead vocalist Bernie Shaw, drummer Russell Gilbrook, and bassist Davey Rimmer. Mick Box is the only original band member left. 

Uriah Heep has released twenty-four studio albums, and they are considered one of the pioneers in hard rock, heavy metal, and progressive rock genres. Despite their commercial success, the band was never a favorite among its peers, repeatedly getting bashed because they were just a bit too far behind the trend.
