#4 – Pink Floyd

Pink Floyd, a rock band out of London, gained traction as one of the first British psychedelic bands. If you take a good listen to their albums, you will note distinct differences in their sound as they progress through time. Many Pink Floyd fans love listening to the band’s albums in order, all at once, to really understand how their music evolved. 

Not many have achieved the level of success and honors that Pink Floyd has during their career. In addition to their incredible sales, Pink Floyd has been honored by being inducted into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996, the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005, and in 2008, King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden presented Pink Floyd with the Polar Music Prize for their contribution to modern music.
