#19 – Yes

Yes is an English progressive rock band formed in London in 1968 by singer Jon Anderson, bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Peter Banks, keyboardist Tony Kaye, and drummer Bill Bruford. Anderson and Squire were always the center of the band for the original lineup, with fans instantly recognizing Anderson’s high vocals. 

Despite the heavy turnover of band members, of which there have been nineteen full-time participants, the band flourished. Lead vocalist Jon Anderson had many stints where he left and came back to Yes. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
