#55 – Marillion

Marillion has produced nineteen albums, which many cite is split into two distinct eras of music, when its lead original lead singer Fish left the group in 1988. Despite the split of musical themes, Marillion has a very loyal fan base despite its unpopularity with mainstream media. 

They are even known for being pioneers in the concept of fan-funded music and crowdfunding to achieve their music goals. Plus, this band isn’t done yet. They released their FEAR album in 2016 which made the was a top ten album in the UK.
