#27 – Fleetwood Mac

Originally a British blues band, Fleetwood Mac transformed into a British-American rock band that took the world by storm. This became especially true once they added the folk-rock duo Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. 

Despite the turmoil in the early band with mental illness and love affairs, the addition of Buckingham and Nicks is what made this band a hit. Fleetwood Mac’s second album, Rumours, reached #1 in the US, got top spots worldwide, and won the band a Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 1977.
