#35 – Ramones

Named after Paul McCartney’s pseudonym, Paul Ramone, the Ramones were an infamous rock band. Although, depending on who you ask, the band was actually named for the producer, Phil Ramone. 

Formed in New York City in 1974, the Ramones are credited as being one of the original punk rock groups and started as an international success rather than a domestic one. While some claim that the Ramones lacked in creativity, it didn’t stop their success.
