2010 was a huge year for Miley Cyrus. It was around this time that Hannah Montana, the TV series that launched her career as an actress, was coming to a close. At this same time, she embarked on a new career path, dedicating herself to her music rather than acting – which she had done exclusively for many years, after starting at a very young age.

In 2010, Miley Cyrus’s image changed completely. She was no longer the innocent little girl from the Disney series. She was now embracing her darker, grungy side that’d wanted to come out for years.
